Shift Your Mindset With The 3 W’s
Let's talk about mindset. When I'm having a tough day, I go back to the three W's: what, why, and who.
Moving all the way across the world has definitely had its challenges, but when I'm having a tough moment, I go back and I ask myself, what are your goals and what are you trying to accomplish? This reminds me about the reason that I'm out here. To start a business that helps the oceans, to travel a lot, be curious, and explore, and to meet new people and make new connections.
Next is the why. Why are you doing what you're doing and why is this important to you? This helps me reflect on the choices that I've made. It is so important to me to never stop growing, to always be learning, and to challenge myself.
And finally, the who. Who is your support system and who do you look up to? Now, these are two distinct things. My support system are the people who support me, who I can always call on when I'm having a hard time. I'm so grateful to have them in my life.
You only have so much time and energy on this earth. Surround yourself with people who truly want the best for you and who make you a better person.
The who I look up to is Jane Goodall. If I could make just 1% of the impact she has made on the planet, I would feel so accomplished.
The three W's: what, why, and who, will keep your mindset strong and allow you to look forward to the future. I'm here in Australia, it's a day ahead, and I can tell you that the future looks bright.
